The light is a warm glow & turns off with a push of the button. the inside of the tank is simple which is great for cleaning! I don’t have much experience with these devices but it is very quiet aside from some water droplet noises which I find relaxing. My skin feels great, my plants are perkier throughout my house (450sq ft) and my cat doesn’t scratch/itch throughout the night anymore. I’m in SoCal so it’s super dry – I even have my window open some nights. I recommend using filtered water from the fridge as I have a lot of plants & know the water build up on the planter pots would build up on the machine if I used tap. Well worth the money! I can’t find any markings for water level.When I filled it the water whent all over the place. Knob doesn’t seem to have any mark on it to signify where it is set.Just aggravating. I asked support for answers and didn’t get any. Maybe if they would have helped I would like the product, but I’m just left frustrated with it.
